I’m Matthew Jones, a proud member of the ʼNamgis First Nation. As a first responder and volunteer firefighter, I’ve spent years responding to emergencies where help arrived too late—not because people didn’t care, but because no one knew something was wrong.

Witnessing the Quiet Moments

Many of the most devastating situations I’ve encountered didn’t involve alarms or calls for help. They involved silence—missed check-ins, falls without witnesses, overdoses where no one realized in time, and people who simply couldn’t reach their phones.

Guardian EDEN was born from a moral obligation to respond to that silence—not with promises, panic, or invasive monitoring, but with a practical tool that could quietly alert the right people when someone may need help.

The early development of Guardian EDEN was driven by personal commitment and belief in the mission. The focus has always been on building something responsible, respectful, and grounded in real-world limitations—not on shortcuts or hype.
